Welcome from the Rector

Welcome to the website of SS. Cyril and Methodius Seminary in Orchard Lake, MI.

SS. Cyril and Methodius Seminary, founded by Father Dabrowski in 1885, the first seminary in the State of Michigan and the only seminary in the United States dedicated to preparing foreign-born seminarians, primarily from Poland, to serve the Catholic Church in our country.

We are inspired by the missionary zeal of our patrons, St. Cyril and St. Methodius, who brought Christianity to the Slavic peoples. As we prepare to celebrate our 125 years as a seminary (and 100 years at Orchard Lake), we recommit ourselves to our mission of forming missionaries as evangelizers in the 21st century.
