Seminary Students in Class

SS. Cyril & Methodius Seminary features four graduate level degree programs serving both religious and lay people. Our program guides students in a process of growth through cognitive studies, skill courses and experiences, self-assessment measures, counseling, and community life that leads to self-understanding and spiritual maturity. Such preparation should also develop an attitude that learning and growth are a lifelong process.

SS. Cyril & Methodius Seminary is engaged in an ongoing review of its educational effectiveness.  This process includes student and faculty evaluation, outcomes assessment of its degree programs and surveys of the effectiveness of its graduates.

Of those who entered as seminarians from 2006 to 2011, 97% completed the M. Div. program of study,  6.7% were not ordained to the presbyterate and 97% of those ordained are active in priestly ministry.  Graduates of the M. Div. program of studies from 2009 to 2015 had a cumulative GPA 3.45.

The MA programs are open to men and women who wish to serve the Lord and His Church in a variety of ministries.  Of the students enrolled in an MA program in 2012, 57% have completed the program, 26% are continuing their studies and 17% are no longer active in the program.  All of the graduates from 2009 to 2015 continue in some form of ministry.  Their cumulative GPA is 3.39.
